The staff was extremely helpful and kind, providing suggestions for restaurants and directions to local attractions. the breakfast offered a good variety of options including vegetarian choices. the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring nearby towns like Sandwich and Deal.

The shower in the room had a low ceiling which made it tricky to use. the TV in the room only had access to a few channels, with weak signals on others.

During my recent stay at the Old Rectory, I was welcomed warmly by the host, Helga, who made sure that I felt right at home. The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. I was impressed by the attention to detail, as I found everything I needed, including a hairdryer and a cozy bathrobe. I appreciated the the availability of tea, coffee, and bottled water in the room. The breakfast provided exceeded my expectations, offering a wide range of choices to cater to all tastes. From fresh fruit to a delicious cooked meal, every dish was good. I also loved spending time in the beautiful walled garden, a relaxing oasis where I could read and unwind. Helga, with her wealth of local knowledge, provided me with valuable information about the area, helping me make the most of my travels. my experience at the Old Rectory was really good, and I would highly recommend it to others.

Stayed here for a romantic escape and it was absolutely wonderful. the room we stayed in was beautifully furnished and had a large, comfy bed. the bathroom was amazing, with a huge walk-in shower and soft towels. We also loved the fact that the hotel was located in a quiet area, yet still close to amenities. And the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

Although the TV in the room only had a few channels with weak signals, it didn't really bother us as we were too busy enjoying our time together. these minor things didn't affect our overall experience.

The owner, Helga, was cute and helpful throughout my visit. She provided me with great recommendations on local attractions and even gave me directions to nearby parking areas. The location of the guest house was slightly off the beaten track, but it was well worth the extra drive time for the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere it offered. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated, clean, and cozy, just as pictured. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including the Freeview TV and toiletries provided. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and delicious. I highly recommend this charming and tranquil hotel for anyone looking for a wonderful and relaxing getaway.

We reminded me of royalty at this beautiful guest house. As we drove up the gravelled driveway, we were transported into a different era, feeling like characters in a period drama. The warm welcome we received from the owners made us feel like old friends. They even treated us to a good cup of tea in the dining hall. The service provided was really good, with the owners offering helpful recommendations for nearby pubs and sights to visit. The next morning, we were treated to a delicious and hearty cooked breakfast, setting us up for a perfect day. The attention to detail and historical charm of the guest house made our stay nice. We can't wait to return and experience it all over again!

Had a delightful and comfortable stay at The Old Rectory. The annexe double room in the converted main house was tastefully designed and of high quality. The peaceful location without road noise was ideal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the integrated USB charging points were a nice touch. The Tassimo coffee machine and hot shower were greatly appreciated. Helga, the friendly and welcoming host, provided excellent breakfast with locally sourced produce. Would thoroughly recommend and like to return.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was picturesque, set in a rural area a few miles away from a charming town. the main building was beautifully decorated with lovely artifacts and pictures. the rooms were exquisite, with detailed furniture and incredibly comfortable beds. the breakfast served in the dining room was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options and beautifully presented.

The lack of air conditioning in the en-suite rooms could pose a problem during hot summer days.

the location was ideal for exploring the beautiful Kent coastal area. Our spacious room had a wonderfully large and comfortable bed, perfect for a great night's sleep. the breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. the property was meticulously maintained, and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, providing valuable suggestions for places to visit.

The only suggestion we have is to consider adding a shower option in the bathroom, as the current bath tap/shower combination may not be suitable for those who prefer showers over baths.
