The staff was extremely helpful and kind, providing suggestions for restaurants and directions to local attractions. the breakfast offered a good variety of options including vegetarian choices. the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring nearby towns like Sandwich and Deal.

The shower in the room had a low ceiling which made it tricky to use. the TV in the room only had access to a few channels, with weak signals on others.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the warm welcome, excellent room facilities, and the delicious breakfast. Our host was knowledgeable and provided great recommendations for local activities and dining options.

We also loved the fact that the hotel was located in a quiet area, yet still close to amenities. And the breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

Had a delightful and comfortable stay at The Old Rectory. The annexe double room in the converted main house was tastefully designed and of high quality. The peaceful location without road noise was ideal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the integrated USB charging points were a nice touch. The Tassimo coffee machine and hot shower were greatly appreciated. Helga, the friendly and welcoming host, provided excellent breakfast with locally sourced produce. Would thoroughly recommend and like to return.

The lack of air conditioning in the en-suite rooms could pose a problem during hot summer days.

Our spacious room had a wonderfully large and comfortable bed, perfect for a great night's sleep. the breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. the property was meticulously maintained, and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, providing valuable suggestions for places to visit.

The only suggestion we have is to consider adding a shower option in the bathroom, as the current bath tap/shower combination may not be suitable for those who prefer showers over baths.
